Meet Layna
Layna's story is both heart-wrenching and inspiring. It's incredible to see the resilience and determination of this brave husky.
Layna was found as a stray and ended up at the animal shelter. She was in rough shape with an injured back leg and needed emergency care to see what was going on. An x-ray confirmed she had been shot, and her leg was shattered in three places. After a cast and cage rest, it was determined an amputation was going to give her the best relief of pain and a future of no complications.
Thanks to the dedication and care of her foster family and the animal shelter staff, she's on her way to a brighter future. Her sweet and smart personality shines through despite everything she's been through.
Layna loves playing with other dogs. She’s a husky and playtime is her favorite thing! She wants to play with cats and they get agitated. Layna is good with older kids who are ok with active dogs.
For anyone looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Layna could be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾

Meet Kimmy
Kimmy is a super sweet baby! She loves being around people and will keep on meowing for the longest time, showing she loves being petted and given attention! She doesn’t bother a thing or anybody, she just loves being inside sleeping, looking out windows, being around people, or exploring around the house! She does prefer to be an indoor cat!
She does great around children! She lets her foster family's 8-month-old baby crawl all around her without moving and even let her pet her! We trim our cats’ nails, and she let us trim hers too without clawing or anything! She has gotten more and more used to our cats and lets them get closer now! She has warmed up slowly to our dog but still keeps her distance a little! He’s a big boy though and loves to run up to her, just wanting to get a whiff! Kimmy will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a sweet kitty!
