Community Pet Food Pantry
The HSDC Pet Food Pantry is dedicated to supporting families in Davie County, NC, and nearby areas. Our goal is to help families keep their beloved pets at home, rather than surrendering them to a shelter, by providing much-needed food.
Our Purpose: During tough economic times, families often face the heartbreaking choice between feeding and caring for their pets and paying for household bills or buying human food. We believe that, with a strong support system and access to pet food, families will be less likely to surrender their pets to shelters during financial hardships. Temporary access to our support can eliminate the difficult decision of paying a household bill or buying pet food, thereby reducing the number of pets surrendered to local shelters—our ultimate goal.
How You Can Help: HSDC accepts donations of various pet supplies, including dry dog food, wet dog and cat food, dry cat food, cat litter, and any other essentials like leashes and litter scoops. Your generosity helps us continue to support pets and their families in need.
